About Me
Amy Krukovitz, PsyD.
My Training and Experience
I received my doctorate of psychology from Marywood University in 2013.
I completed a pre-doctoral internship at Fordham University's Counseling and Psychological Services Center (Lincoln Center Campus). After my internship I joined Fordham University's Counseling and Psychological Services Center (Rose Hill Campus) as a staff therapist. My post-doctoral training was completed at Marywood University's Counseling and Student Developmental Center. I also teach classes at a local university at the graduate level.
I have been trained in Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My approach to therapy integrates these three orientations. I also have an interest in mindfulness practices and utilize these techniques in my work with clients.
My primary concern is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, empathic environment to help individuals reach their full potential. I value and respect each client's individual and unique journey. I am sensitive to diversity issues and place a great deal of importance on being a culturally competent therapist.
I belong to the following professional organizations:
The American Psychological Association
The Pennsylvania Psychological Association

In addition to the above I have worked in community mental health centers, inpatient units, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers.
